Elias rankings are out and #Brewers' Felipe Lopez indeed slipped to Type B.
Tweet from mlb.com's Adam McCalvy. Cameron, Kendall, Looper, and Weathers all also qualify as Type B free agents.

Missed by that much
Fe-Lo was the first Type B FA too, falling just a little short of Dan Uggla.

Damn.
At least this means that he is more likely to be signed by someone else if we offer him arbitration.

agreed
This removes the possibility that he’ll be this year’s Orlando Hudson, but the loss of the potential return is still kind of annoying.
That's all I've got for you today, unless you're interested in some Chris Capuano/Tom Haudricourt Fan Fiction.

Right
I think Lopez probably benefits from being a B rather than an A.
Cameron as a B sorta sucks as well.

Ranking system needs to be changed.
E: George 4 (5, throw, throw, throw, throw).

Something is seriously wrong when the compensation for an all-star CF is the same as a replacement level middle reliever

I guess
if we had to choose, most people here would rather not get the extra pick than paying FeLo starter money for a supersub.

i guess arby is a forgone conclusion now
He’ll probably fetch a little less in arb now, plus as NoahJ states he’ll be more likely to be able to sign with someone if we can’t agree to terms.
If he accepts arb, I still think he SHOULD be traded. Whether Melvin will find something of approximately equal value or not remains to be seen.

so...
chances he’ll be kept to be Escobar’s backup, or will that fall to Counsell again?
