PrintIn Venezuela:
- Alcides Escobar went 4-for-5, stole a base and scored three runs. The four hits raised his batting average to .403, best in the VWL by over 20 points. He has a hit in seven straight games and 20 in his last ten games.
- Hernan Iribarren went 1-for-5 with a stolen base and a run scored.
In he Dominican Republic: Carlos Gomez went 2-for-5 with two doubles and a walk last night for Escogido.
In Mexico: Luis Cruz went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a walk for Culiacan.
In Puerto Rico: Efrain Nieves pitched 2.1 innings in relief, allowing a run on three hits and two walks, striking out two. He's allowed ten baserunners in 5.2 innings of work in the PWL.
