Yankees non-tender Wang
No TWSS, please.
Aside from that, I'd be interested to see if he's a guy the Brewers look at. I think he could be a pleasant surprise.

Absolutely
Killer sinkerballer with great stuff, a move to the the NL could be just the thing to cure his confidence issues. I think the odds are better for Wang having a comeback than Mulder. He might not come cheap however.
Really
its not going to happen. The payroll is at $80M-$82M as it stands right now, with arbitration raise estimates. I can’t see the Brewers signing anyone else, unless a trade goes down.
Aside from that, I think there have been grumblings that he may reunite with Joe Torre.

Good lord
I guess ‘aside from that’ is my phrase of the day.

I've heard quite a bit of them trying to unload Suppan
If that can go down I’m sure that we’ll have saved enough for this year to sign Wang. And if not, who’s to say that Antanassio wouldn’t okay a payroll increase? If he wants to win now, he’s got to loosen those pursestrings. Anyways, I’d expect Ming-Wang won’t get more than an incentive-laden one year deal anyways.

I don't think unloading Suppan would save them much if any money.
They’ll either have to pay most of his salary to get a team to take him (like Bill Hall) or we’ll have to take someone else’s salary albatross in exchange.
What begins in fear usually ends in folly.

Not to mention
Wang probably doesn’t want to play in Milwaukee for the same reason Yi Jianlian didn’t want to play in Milwaukee.

Thank God we don't have Yi anymore
Maybe Wang should take a cue from Yi’s blunder and play for a team that can win.

Wang is in a different situation than Yi...
Yi is young and single, so having a significant Chinese community was important to him. In addition, Yi also doesn’t speak much English. On the other hand, Wang is married and has a kid, plus he can speak some English.
Granted, he still may not want to play in Milwaukee… plus he’s likely to get quite a bit of attention from other teams, which would probably price him out of the Brewers’ budget.
I just don't see it happening
particularly with payroll at what it is right now.
