Voting for our fifth outfielder opened yesterday and will close at 4 pm tomorrow. Today we'll select our #2 starter. Follow the jump for more on the nominees, then vote in the poll below.

OK, NOW I see what Charlie Marlow keeps getting at about the casuals and Trevor Hoffman fandom. At least Hoffman wants to be in Milwaukee for multiple seasons and wasn’t a three-month rental.

See what I'm sayin'?

I voted Gallardo, by the way.

If KL gives me the option of voting for CC as a pitcher – your darn right I am going to vote for him.

Say what you will

CC was an important part of Brewer baseball this decade

It is what it is.

Agreed.

That's all I've got for you today, unless you're interested in some Chris Capuano/Tom Haudricourt Fan Fiction.

If we're going to be voting on 5 starting pitchers

who else should we vote for? Suppan? I have every intention of giving my next SP vote to Gallardo, but after that, its pretty ugly. The rest of that bunch, with the exception of maybe Capuano and Davis, is like the Island of Misfit Toys.

I have no issues with DD and CC being our #4 & 5 pitchers

by Saberilliterate on Dec 22, 2009 11:43 AM CST up reply actions

Compared to the others on this list,

they are the best options, so I don’t have a problem either.

Gallardo
Sabathia
Capuano

Those are my five too

Not necessarily in that order

I've got Gallardo 2nd

but otherwise its the same order.

Aside...

Wow, Manny’s really been worth -2.1 WAR in his career thus far? Yuck.

Hope that Dave Golebiewski article that I linked in my as-yet-unresponded-to fanshot is correct…

Where's the WAR in KL's post coming from?

Good Question

Since CC spent a good deal of his time pitching on 3 days rest, can we have an all decade 4 man rotation?
