Making Your '00 Face: Situational Lefty
With the '00's almost behind us, it's time to take a look back and work together to make a BCB All Decade team for the '00s. Each day, we'll tackle a new position, and we'll have our 25 man roster complete sometime around the 1st of the year.
Here are the players we've selected so far:
First Base: Prince Fielder
Second Base: Rickie Weeks
Shortstop: J.J. Hardy
Third Base: Bill Hall
Corner Outfield: Ryan Braun
Center Field: Mike Cameron
Corner Outfield: Geoff Jenkins
Catcher: Damian Miller
Bench IF: Craig Counsell
Bench C: Mike Rivera
Bench COF: Carlos Lee
Bench OF: Scott Podsednik
#1 SP: Ben Sheets
#2 SP: CC Sabathia
Closer: Francisco Cordero
Voting for our final position player opened yesterday and will close at 4 pm Saturday. Today we'll select a left-handed reliever. Four left handed pitchers appeared in at least 100 games in relief in the decade: follow the jump for their stats, then cast your vote in the poll below.
NOTE: Because Thursday and Friday are holidays, this poll will remain open a little longer than usual. You have until Sunday at 4 pm to cast your vote.

Unless
you consider every step of Wes Helms’ career a stepping stone to that home run that helped Milwaukee make the 2008 playoffs.
Still, not enough to unseat Shouse for me.
You've got a couple screws missin' up in your toolbox, if you think that you'll stop this man from hittin' moonshots.
Ray King
was the man in my book. Shouse was the man to, so I am ok with this.
Starting 2B/3B
I’m filling out my 2010 WAR Worksheet and need to get the lowdown on what kind of playing time (PA) you’d expect at the 2B and 3B positions. How many PA at each position for 2010?
Thanks! vr, Xei

I think I went to a game where King hit a HR
I almost voted for him, until I decided to read the comments first. The Shouse fan club convinced me. I had totally forgotten about that.
