Making Your '00 Face: Setup Man
It's time to select another player for the BCB All Decade Team. Here are the players we've selected so far:
First Base: Prince Fielder
Second Base: Rickie Weeks
Shortstop: J.J. Hardy
Third Base: Bill Hall
Corner Outfield: Ryan Braun
Center Field: Mike Cameron
Corner Outfield: Geoff Jenkins
Catcher: Damian Miller
Bench IF: Craig Counsell
Bench C: Mike Rivera
Bench COF: Carlos Lee
Bench OF: Scott Podsednik
Bench 1B: Richie Sexson
#1 SP: Ben Sheets
#2 SP: CC Sabathia
Closer: Francisco Cordero
LOOGY: Brian Shouse
Voting for our #3 starter opened yesterday and will close at 4 pm tomorrow. Today we'll select the third member of our bullpen. I've limited the nominees to pitchers who either pitched in at least 100 games or pitched at least 100 innings as a Brewer, while appearing as a reliever in at least 80% of their games. A few relatively popular Brewers didn't make enough appearances to make the cut. If you feel they belong in the running, give them a write in vote in the comments, and any pitcher receiving at least five write in votes will appear on future ballots.
Follow the jump for the nominees' stats, then vote in the poll below.

I'm not voting.
I don’t want to pick between Ray King & Matt Wise. Puke.
I was drunk. Sue me.

I'm voting, but...
Todd Coffey. NOW. He’s our favorite 8th Inning Guy™, right?
Also, that list has a heck of a lot of long relievers/swingmen and failed closers on it.
gotta get Todd Coffey on the next ballot
this team needs more sprinting from the bullpen
Ok, so we have three write in votes for Todd Coffey.
Anyone else?
That's all I've got for you today, unless you're interested in some Chris Capuano/Tom Haudricourt Fan Fiction.
I'd vote for Coffey

I would retract my Kolb vote
and vote for Coffey.

I would retract my Vizcaino vote...
… and put it towards Kolb, or whomever else might be gaining votes, if only to keep T-Bow off the team. But I would have likely voted for Coffey or Hoffman if they had been available.

I forgot all about Torres...

If Cordero is closing...
I should think Hoffman would make an excellent setup man.
Applying Simpsons and Star Wars quotes to Brewers discussions since 2009.
Can we put Hoffman back in the voting?
Or is he off the team since he missed the cut at closer? (And didn’t reach 100 games as a Brewer?)
He's off
Sorry.

Ok, as of right now I've got the required five votes for Coffey.
I’m also seeing three votes for Trevor Hoffman, who was left off the ballot because he hasn’t pitched in 100 games as a Brewer, and one for Salomon Torres.

Wow tie
I don’t get the hate for Turbo. The guy was amazing for a year and a half as a closer and then pretty good for another full year as a setup man.
E: George 4 (5, throw, throw, throw, throw).
I don't really understand the votes for Coffey
He was around for a season plus two weeks. Chad Fox should probably get some of those votes, too.
Ah well, I threw my vote away on Valerio de los Santos so I can’t really complain.
Turbo
He’ll probably always be remembered for his massive collapse as opposed to his great closer year.
