Brewers wake up
I would like to see the Brewers make an offer to Vladamir Guerero. Perhaps a $5 million offer. We put more power in the lineup. And even though Vlad isnt as good as he once was in the field he still can hold his own. Move Corey Hart to center. Gomez off te bench....maybe a starter next year. We could possible bump the run production up a good run or two per game. That in return would help the pitching staff. ONCE AGAIN ____ BREWERS GO AFTER VLADAMIR GUERERO.

Guerrero isn't an outfielder anymore.
Corey Hart isn’t and will never be a center fielder. And even if you were right, finishing your post by RESTATING IT IN ALL CAPS doesn’t make it more right.

Brewers definitely dont need Guevara
But as a DH in the AL, he is probably worth 1 win, which is about $5 million.
Awful idea for the NL Brewers. He only played 2 games last year in the OF and is now a full time DH. To top it off, he had a pretty big slide last year compared to what was expected of him. If he were to have a bit of a bounce back with the right team he gets to that 1 win, but a continuation of the slide makes him a replacement level player.
Gomez is going to be the full time CF this year, could maybe even be the leadoff hitter. His defense is going to net the team probably 2 wins and he can hopefully build on that. The only big fear I have iwth him is that his youth and some of the things that his former manager said about him, dont make for a good match with Macha. And Corey Hart isnt even a good RF, making him a CF would be a disaster.
I think he would be worth $5 million
Just not from us.
Even in a down year, he still OPSed just shy of .800.
That said, the dropoff is probably going to be steep (and likely is already underway).

Wow.
If only we had 8 Gurerreros, we could score 16 runs per game while committing only $40 million to most of our starting lineup.

Apart for all the other holes in this plan
there’s no room on the Brewers payroll for him, even at $5 mil.

Maybe they could pull a fast one and invent a player named Vladimir Guerrgomez. Gomez can field, Guerrero can bat. So long as the umpires never saw both of them at the same time, it might work. Actually, I’m not even sure that Guerrero is a lock to outhit Gomez anymore.

How about we just harvest Gomez's knees and give them to Wladimer Gervase.
He’ll be able to steal 50 bases again. Suppan won’t get mad, either, because we didn’t even have to clone Gomez for stem cell research. Suddenly, this Hardy trade is looking fantastic!
