PrintIn Venezuela:
- Alcides Escobar went 1-for-3 with a double and a walk, and scored three runs for Lara.
- Mat Gamel made his debut for Caracas last night, and went 0-for-2 with a strikeout. Caracas has 18 games remaining on their schedule, so if he plays every day he might rack up 65 VWL PAs.
- Hernan Iribarren went 2-for-4 with a triple, scored two runs, drove in three, and stole a base for Lara.
In the Dominican Republic: Carlos Gomez went 0-for-2 with a walk on Wednesday, his sixth walk in 54 PAs. In the majors last season, he only walked 22 times in 337 PAs.
In Puerto Rico: Martin Maldonado went 0-for-3 with a strikeout for Mayaguez.
