Gamel Hurt
Nobody has posted this yet, so I figured I would
EDIT: It's a shoulder impingement, like Gwynn has. It's likely nothing severe, but it's not good either.

I had a shoulder impingement a couple of years ago, and it still lingers. Occasionally the shoulder will flare up again. I couldn’t imagine playing baseball on a daily basis with it, but after a few months it fades enough so it isn’t too much of a problem.
Still, it will probably hurt both of their chances to make the team.

Are you available?
Given the choice between a damaged anonymous Internet commenter and Mike Lamb, I’m inclined to believe you are the better option at 3rd right now.

Wouldn't Mr. O'Dimes almost have to be #10?

Really wanted to see Gamel in Spring Training
Hope it goes away soon!
The designated hitter rule is like letting someone else take Wilt Chamberlain's free throws.
Time to bust out the ol' Nelson-Hart platoon

You know...
if Escobar started at shortstop, that might just work. Escobar + Nelson might just have average range for a half-infield.
Also, cheese.

Unfortunately...
…I think I’d probably be worse than Derrick Turnbow. No major league talent here lol
