Lawrie in WBC
I wonder how they'll play him. Any matter, just gives us another reason to look at the WBC!

I will watch the WBC now!
Can’t wait to see how Lawrie does… is word on the street he will start in A and move up to AA during the season?
The designated hitter rule is like letting someone else take Wilt Chamberlain's free throws.
I’m thinking a full season with the TimberRattlers would be a good move, unless he does so well he gets up to Brevard at some point. I expect 2010 he’ll be in Huntsville and may vouch for a Hunstville September call-up role if the door is open the same year.
As for this year again, I’m looking very much forward to heading up north to see Lawrie and Odorizzi, a potential A+ battery for the Crew!
What else can he do before playing in the Brewers organization?
Obscure baseball records and more at my blog, Recondite Baseball.
Play in a rock n jock celebrity game on MTV?
