Cubs sign Corey Koskie
Does this mean we can't support him and hope he recovers well anymore?

Good luck to him
I’m glad he’s getting a shot somewhere.

Odd
I wonder if Doug has absolutely no payroll room. You’d think he’d be all over a backup lefty 3B, especially considering his ties to the organization, with all of the 3B we have hurt right now. If he can play, he’s probably better than Counsell or Lamb.

maybe he didn’t want to sign a guy who would almost certainly have to go to AAA for a while. It’s true that we might have a use for a healthy Koskie before the Cubs would, but the one thing we don’t have is p.t. for him in AAA.
Also, cheese.
