This would be my very first post. Ever. But I noticed this wasn't up on the site yet so I figured why not?

Hooray for first posts!

Glad to see the economy isn’t slowing down people from supporting the team, though.

38 hours

9 PM thursday until i left at 11 AM saturday. They let us inside the stadium at about 7 AM saturday, but it wasn’t any warmer than outside. It did feel pretty good to be in there again, though.

why would you wait that long?

All of your games are still available except Cubs and Sox games that were most likely bought by scalpers and Chicago fans. The rest of your games are still wide open for the taking. I can sit here days later and buy tickets to 90% of your home games.

but i heard they were only single tickets

or obstructed view games

The designated hitter rule is like letting someone else take Wilt Chamberlain's free throws.

you could work for 3 of those hours, and make maybe $10/hr doing anything, like babysitting

And then have 35 extra hours, and pay $30 over facevalue if tickets are all sold out for opening day

bingo

i got S.R.O. for my first opening day ever, and there’s a picture of me on the Journal Sentinal website. I may have lost money, but i worked the whole week anyway. I had thursday-saturday off instead of any other days. I didn’t miss any school, either, because I don’t have class on fridays.

All in all, it was great.
