HR: Corey Hart (3), Jason Kendall (1), Prince Fielder (1), Kyle Blanks (2), Kevin Kouzmanoff (2)

Jeff Suppan had a tough outing today, giving up five runs on six hits, including a three run home run and two walks in just three innings of work. Chris Narveson also gave up five runs, four earned, in two innings. Carlos Villanueva, Todd Coffey and Eduardo Morlan combined to throw five scoreless innings.

On the other side, Josh Geer and Cla Meredith, the first two pitchers into the game for the Padres, held the Brewers hitless for the first four innings, before the Brewers were able to string together four straight hits along with two walks in the fifth, scoring six runs off Cesar Carrillo, and a seventh off of Chris Britton on Corey Hart's home run. Hart had an all-or-nothing day, going 1-for-3 with a three run homer and two strikeouts.

Chris Narveson gave up a two run shot to Kevin Kouzmanoff in the seventh to bring the score back to 8-7. Prince Fielder's two run shot in the seventh made it 10-7, but Chase Headley's two run double brought the defecit back down to 1 at 10-9. The tenth run scored on an Alcides Escobar error. The two teams combined for four errors.

Man, why don't people tell me when my writing is this bad?

I just came home from dinner and re-read this, and immediately had to re-write the last paragraph.
