Dillard to work as a starter again
Interesting stuff. Wasn't he put in the 'pen within the last couple of years because of inconsistency as a starter?

Damn that Macha is spelling his quotes wrong again
How the hell does Witrado pull this off? This is a middle school mistake:
“He started off the spring tremeandously,” Macha said.
Re: the actual news, I don’t like it because Dillard actually saw his K rates go up nicely when he was moved to the pen and had never gotten many before that, only around 4 as a starter. There are like 9 guys ahead of him on the starting depth chart. I hope this is just an expirement.

That last word is intended ironically, right?

And it doesn't even have three meanings...I feel ripped off by that misspelling.
Anyway, maybe they’re trying to see if Dillard could be turned into trade bait? There can’t be much of a market for borderline righty relievers, but perhaps they’re hoping that whatever pitching improvements he has made since his previous conversion is at least enough to have turned him into borderline 5th starter material…
