The Brewers trailed for much of the game, but pulled ahead in the 8th with a four run rally led by Casey McGehee's third home run of the spring and Carlos Corporan's two run double. McGehee started at second and went 1-for-4 with a stolen base.
On the mound, Seth McClung allowed two runs on four hits, including a home run, in three innings but did not walk a batter. Todd Coffey allowed one run in two innings, and R.J. Swindle and Chase Wright combined for four innings of scoreless relief.
Tony Gwynn and Lorenzo Cain started and batted first and second as DH and center fielder, respectively, and went 1-for-10 with two strikeouts.
