Julio has a garaunteed contract for about $1million so I think that may have something to do with it.
I didn't think it was guaranteed until he made the team
The deal is non-guaranteed and will pay $950,000 if Julio wins a spot on the Opening Day roster. According to the Associated Press, Julio can earn an additional $950,000 in performance-based bonuses.
