Farewell
Not that I haven't been adding much to this fantastic site in the last few months.but, sadly, this is going to have to be my last post. I've taken a position with an AL team so no more blogging for me. I am confident that this will continue to be the best site for Brewers coverage on the web and KL in particular is doing some wondering things here. I will be looking in from time to time though so keep up the good work!

It's the Royals, isn't it
You’ve left us for the Royals.
"I will agree that the attitude [at BCB] is ridiculous and they have done so much to instigate animosity and then block us from responding. Real mature!"

Good luck Dixie
if you are going to the Yanks please convince them to give us better prospects for Cameron.
September 15: Not a bad little Monday
Good luck
I hope whatever team you’re with (it’s Seattle, isn’t it? They couldn’t resist taking something else from us, could they?) puts your talents to good use.
Obscure baseball records and more at my blog, Recondite Baseball.
Hey, if it's the Angels
Can I get some free swag?
Seriously, though, I loved your pitch analysis. Best of luck.
Congrats on the New Position
I’m going to miss your pitch f/x work and analysis.
Best of Luck
BCB, the preferred above replacement level sarcasm supplier.
Congrats Dixie
Just know now, it’s not just a sport, it’s a soul crushing job!!! :)
I just sit back and root for the taser
Do we not get to know which team you're going to?
Either way, you will be missed.
Eric Gagne DL time: May 23-June 29 Brewers record in that span: 20-9
I am supposed to keep it a bit of a low profile right now

This isn't a trick where AL actually stands for Appalachian League, is it?
"If loving CC is wrong I do not want to be right"
"If lovin’ Braun is wrong, I want to be a repeat offender"
Ah no
But it one of those teams would pay more then I would be all for it :)

Hey, at least someone we know is getting a job!
Congratulations, and you’ll certainly be missed. If they ever let you blog again, even if it isn’t about baseball, let us know where you’ve gone….
Congrats!
Josh I’ve always loved your articles. Since your one of my favorite PitchFX Writers, any suggestions on who would be a comparable replacement for the likes of you?
Good luck Josh, does your contract prevent you from any commenting?
The Hardballtimes is bringing in a guy from BtB to directly replace me and he does PITCHf/x
My last article will run Tuesday. If you haven’t checked John Walsh I would recommend him though only about half of his articles are PITCHf/x.

Congratulations and good luck
I wish I had the patience and/or ability to organize even small pitch f/x queries, so I’m glad that there are tools like yours and others that give us some ability to look at pitch f/x data.

So did you apply for an opening, or are there baseball front office folks scouring the internets for guys doing cool things with data?
Thanks again everyone
It really was a whirlwind starting out by posting things here, then my blog, then hardballtimes and now this in less than two years. If you put your mind to it and put out useful information regularly people will notice.
That's right!

It only took a couple years, but Yost is finally gone! Oh, wait….you were talking about you?
Congrats, dixie. MLB needs more guys like you helping them to make better use of the information available to them.
