Brewers 10, Giants 9
W: Todd Coffey (1-1)
L: Bob Howry (0-1)
S: Chris Narveson
HR: Rickie Weeks (2), Jason Kendall (2), Brad Nelson (2), Randy Winn (1), Aaron Rowand (2)
The Brewers and Giants are quickly becoming familiar with each other this spring, as this was the fourth time they've played a game decided by three runs or less.
On a day when the wind was a constant issue, the Brewers appeared to be out of it early. The Giants battered Mark DiFelice in his first start of the spring, getting six runs on seven hits and a walk in two innings.
In fact, the Giants led 8-0 in the top of the third before the Brewers responded with ten unanswered runs. Brad Nelson hit a go-ahead home run in the seventh to give the Brewers a 9-8 lead.
After DiFelice, Brewer pitchers settled down a bit. Carlos Villanueva allowed two runs in three innings of work, actually lowering his spring ERA to 7.94. Todd Coffey pitched two shutout innings. Chris Narveson made it interesting, allowing a run in the eighth and a ground rule double in the ninth, but picked up a two-inning save despite allowing six baserunners. He retired Ryan Rohlinger to end the game.

The most important part of the recap
“He retired Ryan Rohlinger to end the game.”
I think that’s Narveson’s third save since last weekend. Who needs Villy or McClung? :)

And the sad part
Is I went to Brewers.com to look up his spring stats, and he wasn’t even listed with the pitchers on the stats page.
"The reports are that he is getting better. The definition of better is nebulous."
