Brewers 4, A's 2
W: Jeff Suppan (2-0)
L: Dana Eveland (0-4)
HR: J.J. Hardy (4), Sean Doolittle (2)
In what qualifies as a pitcher's duel in Arizona, Jeff Suppan and Dana Eveland battled for seven innings, with the difference being J.J. Hardy's three run home run in the third.
Hardy went 2-for-3 in the game with a walk and the aforementioned home run, but was also caught stealing and picked off. In his last six games, he's gone 12-for-18 with two doubles, two triples and four home runs, good for a .667/.740/1.611 line.
Suppan gave up a first inning run and little else, scattering six hits and two walks over seven innings for his second Cactus League win. With only two innings left to split among three pitchers, David Riske and Todd Coffey each pitched two thirds of a scoreless inning. It was Riske's second scoreless outing in as many days, after six straight outings where he allowed a run. Jorge Julio allowed a solo home run in his brief stint.

Ok Tom H
You might want to add that third pitcher to the short list.
How far will this one fly?

Are we sure this game took place in Arizona?
I mean only 6 runs for a whole game – heck the Giants managed that in the 1st inn today and still lost.

Suppan's ERA is down to 3.91
I wonder how many 23-inning stretches he’ll have during the regular season at 3.91 or below.
