Braun and Company at the Mall!
Wow, our trip to Arizona got off to a great start last night! Since we are staying in Scottsdale and heard that Braun was going to be at the Scottsdale Mall promoting his t-shirt line, my wife and I thought we'd go check it out.
We were expecting a big crowd and only hoping to get a photo from afar and possibly wait in line for an autograph. We went inside Nordstroms and saw a table with Braun's t-shirts but no sign of any players. Thinking we probably missed them (especially since there were very few people around), we were a bit disappointed. Not long after, in comes Braun, Hardy, Hall, Derek Lee, Grady Sizemore, and Andre Ethier, all wearing the Remetee t-shirts! We were first in line, and they were super nice! We told them how we were huge Brewer fans and wished them good luck this year. Braun signed a baseball and a baseball card we had brought, and my wife had her picture taken in between Braun and Hardy. It was great, because there were so few people there and the players were so friendly.
Just wanted to share our experience. We are headed to the Brewers-Giants game in Scottsdale today.

I wonder what Kibir would pay
To have her picture taken between Braun and Hardy ;)
Now that restraining order Braun has on her would make that tough to do though ;P lol

Man, if only I was a college student with money

You could also wish to be the Tooth Fairy
In my experience, the probability of the existence of a college student with money is on par with Santa Claus.

Man
I think Remetee may be the new Wolf Shirt. Seriously, I used to have rickets and the clap, and those shirts cured me!!!
I just sit back and root for the taser

Braun is a good guy...
I had a similar experience with Braun – I met him at a company outing about a month after he was first called up. I coach little league and I had a bucket of new balls in my car – I brought a couple of them to the outing and he signed them for my two boys – “to XXXX best wished Ryan Braun” He was friendly, talkative, just a nice guy.

Braun Homered
Braun Homered off of Fuentes yesterday.
Granted, Fuentes has pitched pretty poorly so far this spring, but it’s a good sign that he’s able to hit the ball out of the park against live pitching.
As for whether or not he should be playing with his injury, let alone swinging for the fences, I’d rather have him resting on the bench.

You misspelled FUentes
jeff: but i shudder to think of the bullpen analogy to sending the runner

haha
This Fuentes guy is pitching pretty poorly.. it’s probably an imposter, while FUentes is one of the Many Corpses to be found in Coors Field

I'm hoping
The Angels can exhume him before the regular season starts!

I've seen them online
and seriously, they are maybe just a 1/4 step above the wolf shirt I posted earlier.

Yeah, they look pretty stupid online
I thought maybe they’d look even more lame/douchey on real, live people.

By the way,
How do you post a picture like that? I tried to post our photo of my wife with them in their shirts and couldn’t figure it out!

I use Photobucket
I save them on Photobucket.com and Photobucket gives me an html link
Somebody forwarded a bunch of pictures to me. They are actually from the night that the Brewers clinched the playoffs. We think it’s Mike’s Martini Lounge.

And once you get it on photobucket or something
click the little green tree in the bar between the subject line and body box for a comment. It’s next to the chain for hyperlinks.
