Jordan Zimmerman makes Nats rotation
He's a Wisconsin native, from Auburndale (between Wausau and Chippewa Falls), and went to UW-Stevens Point. With Pat Neshek out for the year, Zimmerman will almost certainly be the best Wisconsin-born pitcher in baseball this year, with Jack Taschner and Jarrod Washburn as his competition.

Huh
I was born in Wisconsin Rapids, but had no idea Zimmerman was from Auburndale. I’m pretty sure Packer OT Mark Tauscher is also from there.
"The reports are that he is getting better. The definition of better is nebulous."
Yep
Tauscher helped Auburndale to a basketball state title.

No, no boys, there's two O's in "Goose"
And two N’s in Zimmermann. The Nats also have Ryan Zimmerman manning third base. Beware when they bring up Enzo Zimmermannn in 2010.
The extra "n"
is a sign of quality.
Also, cheese.
