Barring the unforeseen, DiFelice has won a job in the Brewers' bullpen.
Tom Haudricourt, after DiFelice pitched three scoreless innings on Sunday. With reports that Trevor Hoffman is feeling better (though still likely to go on the DL), it opens the possibility that Jorge Julio's tenure with the Brewers will be brief.

Very few disappointed
I think we’re all glad to have the opportunity to see DiFelice on the Opening Day roster. Suppan throws 6, DiFelice throws 2 and Villaneuva to close out Opening Day?
I thought that I read somewhere that Dave Bush was going to pitch in relief on opening day to keep him on schedule or some nonsense like that…

6 innings of Suppan?
The mind reels.
"I will agree that the attitude [at BCB] is ridiculous and they have done so much to instigate animosity and then block us from responding. Real mature!"
Indeed.
Clearly Suppan will go the distance with a two-hit complete game shutout.

Optimism
I’ve decided to be relatively optimistic about Suppan and be disappointed with bad starts rather than be pessimistic and pleasantly surprised with decent starts. He’s certainly capable of pitching 6 with 3 ER against the Giants. Assume the HR he will give up will be a solo HR and he can manage the rest of the game.
I'm not sure I like this
Julio is one of my best relievers in MLB2k9, and I’d hate to lose him when that roster update comes through.

Well
At least your priorities are in order.
"The reports are that he is getting better. The definition of better is nebulous."

I'm kinda sad to lose Gagne, too
Now that you mention it.

Speaking of 2k9
What are your thoughts? I can’t say I’m impressed with the reviews I’ve read, but thanks to Microsoft I don’t really have a choice and I think the need for a baseball game will overcome my dismay.
