I guess I’m the first one so far to envision a rerun of 2007 with 83-ish wins being good enough for second place… And heh, I’m the only one to vote the under on the 19.5 man pitching staff. I know that’s unreasonable in general MLB terms, but call it a hunch that the pitching will be solid-but-unspectacular, and the first-up replacements from AAA much the same, cutting down the need to trial two dozen different faces this year.

it, but the Cubs are too good. They have a solid pitching and the best lineup in the central. Lets face it. It will take more than visions of grandeur and dreams or nightmares for the Cubs to go down. Oh wait, there’s always the curse…
