At the lack of mention of former Brewer great Chris Barnwell playing starting for Canada.

Barnwell’s B-R page says he was born in Jacksonville, FL. Did he switch citizenship? Were his parents Canadian? More importantly, did I really just post twice about Chris Barnwell?

“How many imports are you guys allowed?” joked a scout before Team Canada edged the Blue Jays 6-4 at Dunedin Stadium yesterday.
Barnwell’s father Tim was born in Shelburne, N.S. and Teahen’s pop Mike is from St. Marys, Ont. — catching six years for Team Canada — which makes their sons World Baseball Classic eligible.
