Giants 8, Brewers 6
W: Luis Perdomo (1-0)
L: Eduardo Morlan (0-1)
HR: Casey McGehee (2) Juan Uribe (1), John Bowker (2), Ryan Rohlinger (1)
Manny Parra had the best outing for a Brewer pitcher this spring, throwing four shutout innings and allowing just one hit while striking out three. Parra has now allowed just two hits in six spring innings.
Parra was only the third Brewer all spring to escape a start with one hit or less allowed. Yovani Gallardo pitched 3 innings with one hit on March 3 and Dave Bush pitched two hitless innings on March 1. Parra also allowed just one hit in two innings on February 27.
The Brewers led 2-0 early, but Nick Green followed Parra and gave up four runs in two innings. The Brewers scored two in the seventh, powered by a Rickie Weeks RBI triple, and pulled ahead in the 8th on an RBI single by Casey McGehee, but the Giants tied it up again on a bobbled grounder by Alcides Escobar that was ruled a hit.
Casey McGehee's solo home run in the top of the 9th gave the Brewers a 6-5 lead. McGehee, who entered the game at third base but later moved to second, went 2-for-2 with two RBI. However, it was all for naught as Eduardo Morlan allowed hits to all three batters he faced in the ninth, including Ryan Rohlinger's 3-run walk-off shot.

Why didn't Escobar just use his hose to knock that one down?

Playing with his stick.
Link, for those that don’t get why it’s funny.
"The reports are that he is getting better. The definition of better is nebulous."
