when context within the season is considered. None of these games are even close to must-win, like those were. But on the events in the games themselves, this is starting to get absurd. Law of averages says something’s got to break the Crew’s way, right? Right?

Divisional games against sure-thing contenders (Cubs) and probable contenders (Reds) early are more important than late season games against other teams not competing directly for your playoff spot.

This is nothing compared to those games where you can watch the hope of playoffs suckerpunched out of us
So FSN should ignore the Bucks
NBA playoffs are out of the question for the Bucks, and they’re season is effectively over. Why would they televise Bucks games instead of Brewers games? They would get better ratings. I love Bob Uecker, but I’d rather watch the game even if it involves Gallardo pitching Suppanlike innings.

I turned on the radio in the 2nd inning
The first thing I noticed was how slow Gallardo seemed to be working. It reminded of how when Sheets pitched, you knew whether he had it or not based on how fast he worked. Gallardo is usually a fast worker and I wondered if he has slowed down because he knew he didn’t have his best stuff. That might explain the walks as well.

I played once in a kids league where you started in T-ball, moved up to coach pitch and then finally up to regular pitch.
I was about 12 when I showed up for a game once and the T-Ball team was facing a forfeit because they were short players, so I had to play T-Ball with a bunch of 6 year olds in front of my dad.
That’s the first time I’ve ever shared that story with anyone.
