Ok, if we've established one thing this season

It’s that waiting through a rough inning to start a new game thread is just like leaving a pitcher in too long.

Fantasy Question

I just got offered Roy Oswalt and Matt Kemp for Joe Mauer and Ian Kinsler. Clearly, that would be a terrible deal for me. I feel like Braun would be much more fair for him to give up (he also has Bedard, Harden, Halladay, and Kershaw on his staff, and I’d much rather have one of his real aces than Oswalt right now) Thoughts?

by theBrouhaha on Apr 14, 2009 9:50 PM CDT reply actions   0 recs

Taking into account that Mauer wont be back until the end of the month

I still say no. Braun would be much too much for him to give up. Fair trade would be Halladay and Kemp for Mauer and Kinsler. I still wouldn’t give up Kinsler unless I’m getting Braun and either Oswalt or Halladay. Not much makes me give up Ian right now unless I’m getting obscene value for him.

Indeed. Patience at the plate has been promising, just running into a wall that happened last year with leaving runners in scoring position. Pitching needs to settle down, and that speaks toward the whole league really, not just us. Though, our BB’s have to be near the top for all MLB teams.

wow...what's the backstory on that one?

why’d the adult kick the little kid. White supremacist? Was the kid being an annoying twerp?

Regardless, he had what happened next coming to him.

I think the kid is Emmanuel Lewis.

"I will agree that the attitude [at BCB] is ridiculous and they have done so much to instigate animosity and then block us from responding. Real mature!"

haha

well, the guy who kicks the kid is a little slow. the guy who comes in to punch the slow guy doesn’t realize the one guy is slow.
