The Brewers managed to salvage a second win on their six game homestand behind the bat of Mike Cameron, who went 3-for-3 with a walk, a double and two home runs. The team jumped out to an early 3-0 lead before allowing three unanswered runs to tie the score, but the offense picked up Braden Looper with five runs in the bottom of the sixth, getting him his first win as a Brewer.

Clearly, we made the right call.

Nice to see Coffey closing the game

Obviously not a save situation, I just hope this means Coffey is the new closer. He has been our best pitcher.

The crowd cheered like mad when Coffey came sprinting in

And a fan-favorite was born…

Coffey Run!

Sure is.

I just wonder why Riske wasn’t given the 9th for a few batters/baserunners. Up 6 means we could have spared at least a run for some work.

I seriously wonder if they are considering releasing him when Hoffman becomes available

Scored three times and detonated an indisputable in four visits to the batting box.

Doubt it

We are on the hook for 9million (4.25 09, 4.5 10, 11 .25 buy out). He’ll get his fair share of starts minor league rehabs. It took us how long to dumb Turnbow and he was one year 3 million.

I really want to like Riske.. but he’s making it really hard. I really really hope he figures it out.

Wow.. so share of starts is “fair share or minor league rehabs” and “dumb Turnbow” = “dump Turnbow”.

Easy there, chief

Why don’t you just sit this one out.

Off day

A) The Brewers are off today, so all relievers will be rested
B) The Brewers really needed a win and a convincing win is that much better.

This road trip is going to be hell and ensuring an upbeat plane ride there is nearly priceless.

Awww....

I’m sorry that Micah had to take the brunt of the Brew Crew’s pounding. :-(

Insert witty and/or humorous signature here.
