Riske to DL; Swindle up
Via TH:
I just talked to assistant GM Gord Ash who said Riske "casually" mentioned some tightness in the elbow over the weekend and said it did not subside in recent days. Ash said there's some slight swelling to go with the tightness but right now the severity is unknown.

I hope we can see him tomorrow
I’ve only been able to witness the slow ball once, when they played the ST game on WGN. Soriano fouled it off, but he still looked silly doing it.
I doubt he'll go tomorrow.
He just threw 3 innings yesterday.
"The reports are that he is getting better. The definition of better is nebulous."
Dammit, you're probably right
Well I’ll still hope he’s in the game tomorrow; I’m going to flip if I get to see him pitch in person.

It's true.
If you don’t, all the statheads will berate you for lowering your teams Puns Above Replacement.

I just can't wait to see the anagrams TheJay busts out here.
I just sit back and root for the taser

THE PIRATE
Hopefully he swindles some booty from the Mets this weekend.
BCB, the preferred above replacement level sarcasm supplier.
Swindle!
This made my night (wasn’t terribly hard to do with no game tonight, but still).
I Guess This Proves...
That it is a Riske move to casually mention tightness. You never know when you will get Swindled out of a roster spot.

I don't usually mention my work in wrestling around here, but since it's relevant
One of our wrestlers for 3XW has a Price is Right gimmick. He comes out of the crowd to the Price is Right music, but only after being told to come on down, and when he loses that sound plays. Crowd eats it up every time.

You made a drinking game
for a 10:30 a.m. show?
"I will agree that the attitude [at BCB] is ridiculous and they have done so much to instigate animosity and then block us from responding. Real mature!"

So it all started when I was in college
I had no classes on Fridays, so we’d go out on Thursday night. Friday mornings, we’d wake up and have a hangover beer. The Price is Right came on one day, and somebody made an offhand comment about drinking to the Price is Right.
So we did.
It ended up turning into a big ordeal (hence the above poster). It was A LOT of fun. The only time we do it anymore is when we DVR an episode and play it at night. It just isn’t the same. I miss those days….
Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes
Elmer Dessens disease.
Scored three times and detonated an indisputable in four visits to the batting box.
I'm so happy
I could do a dance (less for Riske going down than for Swindle coming up, actually; I was hoping he’d make the team).

Good Luck Riske
Hope you figure it out, I really want to like you, but you are making it really hard. Doug Melvin also wants you to do well…
