Some News on the Sirius XM and MLB Front
And it is not good news if you are a Sirius subscriber.
MLB will not be added to the best of XM package to get MLB as a Sirius subscriber you need to wait for it ........ Buy a whole new fraking radio and change your subscription to something called Sirius XM all in one
For someone like me who has a Sporster 5 which I use in both my car and my home with the add on boom box I am looking at over $350 dollars to upgrade.
Frak that I can get MLB radio through my Iphone with the MLB App so I will not be able to use the Sat to listen to Brewers games when I am up North at my cabin(no cell signal so Iphone and app option are a no go) I will survive the Bar in Hawkins has a dish I can watch the game there if I need to or at least catch the score since there is cell service there :)
I think MLB and Sirius XM are shooting themselves in the foot here by not just adding it to their best of XM package
I mean this new radio would be great if I was not already a current subscriber who has already bought a radio car kit and boom box from them.
Like I said they are leaving a good size group of baseball fans out in the cold with this.

That’s crappy, but at least they’re not taking something away from you. Before the merger you didn’t have it, either.
Seems like the only difference between the two channels now is that XM has baseball and Sirius doesn’t. Maybe ebay your Sirius stuff and get XM instead?
I’m probably going to be upgrading the deck in my car soon, and I think I’ll be getting XM to go along with it, but I might wait until after the new iPhone comes out to decide. I’m rolling with the first-gen one, and one a drive down to Stl last weekend the MLB app kept dropping the audio feed – seemingly right when something important happened. It also eats battery like crazy, and I don’t think I’d want to mess with plugging in power and audio every time I got in the car.

I got XM radio just for baseball games
As soon as we get in the van though, I have kids yelling “We want Kids Place Live!”
So instead of Ueck, I get “No more Monkeys jumping on the bed” in 4-part not-so-harmony.

When I told my uncle I was engaged
He gave me a version of that one: “Every man should get married one time, just so he knows how miserable you can truly be.”
He said it, of course, right in front of my fiancee, the first time he met her. That went over pretty well.
"The reports are that he is getting better. The definition of better is nebulous."

I have the exact same problem
Though the Braunophile still refers to it as “XM Kids”, from the channel’s pre-merger days.
The worst part is when you get in the car by yourself later, and 10 minutes later you realize you’re singing along to some kiddie song, mindlessly having left the radio tuned to Kid’s Place. I have to admit, “Carp in the Tub” is pretty catchy….

Worse than that is when you get one of those songs stuck in your head all day. Seems to occur a lot on the Barenakedladies screwy alphabet song and that annoying Personal Penguin song. My kids are pretty big fans of the Highway 40 song.

The worst
I had the Spongebob Squarepants song stuck in my head one day, and couldn’t remember one of the words. I had to google the lyrics.

It's the Best Day EVER!
or are you talking about “Campfire Song Song?” My personal favorite is the one with “F is for Fire, that burns down the whole town! U is for Uranium. Bombs! N is for No Survivors…”
I listen to way too much XM Kids. Try driving from LA to Phoenix for spring training for 7 hours with the station on pretty much the whole time…
