Kirbir's Pictures of the Week
It's been a tough couple of games here. One of the high points, obviously other than winning Thursday night's game with such a high score, was Ryan Braun's first homer of the season on Friday night. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see it, but the pictures are fun to look at.
I really love Yahoo! for these pieces.
Braun watching his homer fly.
Running the bases.
The exciting walk back to the dugout.
More high fives!
Former NYC Archbishop Edward Egan passes the torch over to Former Milwaukee Archbishop Tim Dolan; Egan tries to convince Soup to consider passing torches perhaps?

"Could you look into Satan,"
“Because you are making our team look REAAALLLY bad.”
"That's not a weird stat. Rickie is a run-scorer," Yost said. "It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter," Yost told reporters. "See, you guys have no concept. He's a run-scorer. So there's nothing weird about it. That's what he does."
they interviewed
Dolan on the Mets broadcast Friday night and he said that Suppan was a great Catholic. It was all I could do to hold my tongue.

Incidentally, Dolan was interviewed on the Mets feed of the first (?) game.
After the usual NY-based banter he was very complimentary of Suppan to close out the interview, as could be expected.
