Sucks money wise, sucks for him, but I'd be happy if he was shut down for the year.
I think the best possible pen right now is DiFelice/Suppan, McClung, Villanueva, Coffey, Stetter, Swindle, and Hoffman.

I think our best bullpen is 6 Coffey’s and a DiFelice (maybe). No one else has done much of anything to call home about.

I love quotes like this
“It’s not torn. If it were torn, then it would be an automatic decision to repair [with surgery],” Brewers assistant general manager Gord Ash said. “But because it’s not torn and there is only very minor laxity to it, the idea is to try to rehab it for three weeks or so to see if you can strengthen the area around it.”
Very minor laxity, haha. It’s great how it’s not partially torn or whatever—oh no, definitely not a tear of any kind, can’t use that word!—just “lax”.
"I didn't realize his velocity was that high," said Macha, noting that radar readings aren't flashed during exhibition games.

It's a flexibility-enhanced ligament.
As bad of a situation as it would be, at least it would explain his crappy performance so far and might give some hope for his final contract year (or even later this season) if he manages to get fully healthy again.
