Sucks money wise, sucks for him, but I'd be happy if he was shut down for the year.
I think the best possible pen right now is DiFelice/Suppan, McClung, Villanueva, Coffey, Stetter, Swindle, and Hoffman.

Very minor laxity, haha. It’s great how it’s not partially torn or whatever—oh no, definitely not a tear of any kind, can’t use that word!—just “lax”.

It's a flexibility-enhanced ligament.
As bad of a situation as it would be, at least it would explain his crappy performance so far and might give some hope for his final contract year (or even later this season) if he manages to get fully healthy again.
