but It’s good to see Lawrie go 3 for 4 in the 2nd game. It’s amazing that the Rattlers pulled out those wins with those bad pitching performances.

"That's not a weird stat. Rickie is a run-scorer," Yost said. "It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter," Yost told reporters. "See, you guys have no concept. He's a run-scorer. So there's nothing weird about it. That's what he does."

And a small bug report (or maybe it was a late change): The milb.com box score shows two errors for Gamel.

I think I ran the script last night pretty soon after the end of the Nashville game. Not that that’s key; I’ve seen changes to those files as late as a day or two after the fact. If you see it again, though, let me know.

Caught the end of game 1 on TWS last night, saw Lawrie go for the lead runner @ third on a routine grounder, instead of the easy out at first.

Got the out, and definitely showed off his arm, if not his questionable decision making…

but, he’s young, and he’ll learn. (or get moved from 2b)
