Ok, this is a nearly identical situation to Sunday's Suppan usage fail.
Will it happen again?

So, you be the manager in this exceptionally hypothetical situation.
You have Trevor Hoffman returning tomorrow, and you have an interim closer who’s been very effective behind him. How long of a leash do you give the All Time Saves Leader?
"The reports are that he is getting better. The definition of better is nebulous."
A relatively long one
I’d like to see that interim closer stay effective more than a couple weeks even if he has to set up the All Time Saves Leader.

I think Hoffman deserves to get a long leash
Coffey has not give me huge confidence of being able to get many 1,2,3 innings. I always have the feeling that he could give up 3 runs in a hurry.

He was at the plate for the whole fiasco with I-Rod's ejection.
"The reports are that he is getting better. The definition of better is nebulous."
Cameron expressed some displeasure after finding out last night that someone was asking Houston players if they though the play was dirty. Cameron said that is how baseball is played and wasn’t happy that anyone would even think to ask that question in the home clubhouse. He was also upset that when he rose to his feet to leave the field, while Quintero was still sitting, fans booed. They booed loudly and booed all the way until Cameron stepped into the dugout. It was suggested to Cameron by a reporter that Houston fans weren’t the most knowledgeable when it came to baseball or its etiquette.
“Obviously,” Cameron replied.

- Marshall Faulk does not pay attention to the NFL
