Open Thread: Chat With YoGa at 2:30 CT
YoGa will be available for an online chat on Friday, May 1, at 3 2:30 p.m. CT. Go to the link above for more information and to go to the chat.
Just in case some of you have been living under a rock, YoGa pitched eight innings on Wednesday and hit the one and only HR, winning the game 1-0 and sweeping the Pirates.
The chat was moved up half an hour to accommodate YoGa's busy busy schedule today (you guys should all thank Michael Danes from MLB.com for letting us know).

The last time I tried to be involved in a chat… It did not go well. Braun was running too late to chat, so they rescheduled it for another day, but I oddly wasn’t notified through the Brewers email like I thought I would be. I missed my chance to chat with my obsession and it was just terrible.

But since he’s at work for a nameless government entity, he can’t really participate :-p
Q: In your next start, you’re slated to face the Pirates again. Do you approach preparing for a team you’ve recent played differently than one you haven’t played for weeks or more?
A: I guess you are really going into the game with a plan and once the first couple of innings come, you have to make adjustment, see how they are swinging the bad and go from there. But generally, you prepare the same way.

Well,
A lot of kids come from a poorer background that makes it hard for them to get attention at home. Having a role model to look up to really improves the well-being of these kids. I know when I was growing up, it was so cool to go and meet the minor league team and it really inspired me. Up until college, I knew basically nothing about baseball and only really watched the World Series, but that didn’t matter to me. I knew about how well they played and how hard they worked to get there, so it really meant a lot to me to talk to them.
Sorry, future teacher/politician/awesome person.
