New Blog: RSL Soapbox for Real Salt Lake Fans!

In AAA: The Nashville Sounds host Reno tonight at 7. Nick Green takes the mound for the Sounds against Cesar Valdez. You can listen live here at 6:35.

In AA: The Huntsville Stars will try to snap a two game losing streak against the Chattanooga Lookouts at 7. The Stars are sending Mark Holliman to the mound (I think), and you can hear it live here.

In High-A: Can Evan Anundsen pitch his second no-hitter of 2009? Find out for yourself when Brevard County travels to Lakeland tonight at 6. Or don't, since I can't find a radio feed of the game. If you know how to follow this game, leave a note in the comments and I'll update the post.

In Low A: After Game 2 of their doubleheader was rained out last night, the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and Cedar Rapids Kernels are playing two tonight in Cedar Rapids. Wily Peralta and Trey Watten are scheduled to pitch for the Rattlers, and you can listen live here starting at 5:30

(h/t to Rattler Radio, who compiled a lot of this info.)

Y'know what astounds me?

The Sounds have a pretty good media presence, but the only other Brewer affiliate with really good coverage is the Timber Rattlers, and their coverage is significantly better than the Sounds, at least from my experience.

This spring, I emailed all of the media relations departments with the team to try to establish a relationship. I got quick replies from the Sounds and Rattlers. I got no reply from the Stars. I couldn’t find an email address for the Manatees, so I tried calling but their phone system doesn’t even have voicemail.

"The reports are that he is getting better. The definition of better is nebulous."

And when the Post-Crescent qualifies as good sports coverage

you know the other affiliates have a problem.

Scored three times and detonated an indisputable in four visits to the batting box.

Well, I rarely use the Post-Crescent coverage.

Rattler Radio is a wealth of information by itself.

That makes more sense
