BREWERS TRADE IMMINENT
Via JSOnline and Tom Haudricourt:
Brewers general manager Gord Ash just posted a "tweet" on Twitter that the team has a player transaction forthcoming.
I have it on good authority it is not Jake Peavy, so no, he hasn't turned down the White Sox to come to Milwaukee. Sounds like it's something of much less significance, probably involving something on the bench.
I'll let you know when I hear what the deal is.

Am I missing something here, or does “Player Transaction” completely encompass trade, and most Player Transactions are trades, but you can also do a transaction for cash or “future considerations”?
Or can player transaction also be a demotion, etc?

JS comments...
I can’t believe that I read the comments, or that I just admitted that publicly, but one of the comments cites a report out of San Diego that it is TGJ for Jody Gerut.
Does that mean that even I could have just scooped TH (but if I’m wrong, I’m blaming it on badgerblogger).
thats just what his blog post suggested

I'm intrigued.
Though if Gord Ash is “tweeting” about it, it is probably something very insignificant. Though maybe we are getting a new 2B?

"I didn't realize his velocity was that high," said Macha, noting that radar readings aren't flashed during exhibition games.

Yeah, the gamethreads were all up in my business.
I should really learn to look around first before going off the first thing that catches my eye.
Thanks for the welcome.
By the way, you know what this team needs? Major League Hitters who strike out zero times and hit one bajillion homeruns.
