Catalanotto up, Swindle down
They don't say if Catalanotto is with the team today, or will join tomorrow.

He got sent down so fast..
… that I think he’s still got a curve ball on the way to home plate.

Maybe next time he's up
He’ll show some of that AAA domination.

I'm unsure about why we need a corner outfielder/ first basemen
Might as well just have kept Brad Nelson around if this was going to be the case. I hope they planned to send down Swindle and aren’t judging him on 3 appearances this year.

He's at best an average defensive outfielder in left
I guess he’s just a pinch-hitter, then.

I'm pretty sure Swindle knew he was only up for the Twins series.
Now that the Brewers are back to NL play, they needed another bat on the bench.
"The reports are that he is getting better. The definition of better is nebulous."

Those Are..
..my thoughts on the whole Neslon situation in general, but that’s done and gone now.
I bet some of the move may have hinged on McGehee’s play. If McGehee would have struggled this weekend, I wonder if Irribarren would have been brought back up again instead of Catalanotto.

And why not bring up a 4 corners guy who can't hit for power
"That's not a weird stat. Rickie is a run-scorer," Yost said. "It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter," Yost told reporters. "See, you guys have no concept. He's a run-scorer. So there's nothing weird about it. That's what he does."

He can't really play third, either
Hasn’t been there since 2001.

I wonder if that's more of a sign that Gamel will start
Or if Counsell will get the starts there while McGehee plays at second (or some combination there of)

I was thinking the same.
If Gamel stays and gets the starts against RHP, they still have two backup infielders and two backup outfielders. (Counsell/Hall and Gerut/Catalanotto)
