Ryan Braun and JJ Hardy Lead in NL All-Star Votes
But Albert Pujols is still the overall top vote getter. Seriously, we need to fix that.

Hahaha
Brewers lead at two positions, sit second at every other
Yes, that includes third base and catcher:
• At third, three-time All-Star David Wright (454,449) of the Mets paces the Brewers’ Bill Hall (371,950).That’s hilarious. Mike Cameron is 5th in votes in the outfield.• Behind the plate, Yadier Molina (451,368) is the Cardinals’ second positional leader. He is running nearly 67,600 votes ahead of Milwaukee’s Jason Kendall.
"I didn't realize his velocity was that high," said Macha, noting that radar readings aren't flashed during exhibition games.

also hilarious
Pujols’ total of 842,058 votes is about 167,000 more than anyone else has yet tallied in the league, and is nearly double the number recorded by the first-base runner-up, Milwaukee’s Cecil Fielder (427,284).

That's a good one
Does that mean that Prince is winning the DH vote?

Cameron
Cam is one of the only Brewers that I’ve voted for when I fill these ballots out at games. I put in my vote for Cam in OF, and Fielder at DH.

You don't vote for all the Brewers?
I mean, the All-Star game is kind of a joke, might as well just vote all-Milwaukee
Ryan Braun: He loves it.

I generally vote for whoever the best players are
I like to vote for guys who haven’t been there yet and are having good years, also.
I agree that it’s “kind of a joke,” but I think it comes into play when you’re up for hall of fame voting. When a player retires, you’ll hear their stats as, “Career AVG, Career HR, Career SB, Gold Gloves, All-Star Games, Championships.”

Yea
I generally vote all Milwaukee, with the exception of 2-3 players…
I dont think I voted for Hardy or Kendall, but pretty much every other postion player I did

Look, I know the Reds pulled this stunt in the 50's, but this Milwaukee voting bloc is silly
At the very least, could you at least start referring to your third baseman as Bill “Tammany” Hall?

Don't forget Teapot Dome orchestrator J.J. "Warren" Hardy
There’s a Rays minor league 2B named Jason Tweedy; if he makes the bigs and Upton gets shifted back to short, it would be the Bossman-Tweedy keystone combination.

Good for Hall, there's a confidence booster
But who’s voting in Kendall and Weeks in enough to where they’re second place? One is injured and the other…is Jason Kendall. How?
And I’d also like to take this time to campaign Casey McGehee’s write in candidacy at second base. Lets get this guy in there! Heh.
How far will this one fly?

Well, most of Weeks' votes presumably came in before he got hurt.
The Kendall voting, though, is completely inexplicable.
"The reports are that he is getting better. The definition of better is nebulous."

I'd like to see more GRIT in the All-Star game this year myself

Speaking of deserving votes
Nice to see Man-Ram coming in 4th at this time. Good ole’ cheating indifferent fans.

Once again,
Most of those votes came before the steroid news came out

Brewers actually have four outfielders listed
Braun-Cameron-Hart-Gerut
Yet I can only vote for 3, sorry Jody…

Braun I can see, Hardy not so much
If we want to be taken seriously, I really don’t think getting Hardy a ridiculous number of All-Star votes (with the season he’s been having so far) is the way to do it.

There's something to be said for including recent past history in voting
And Hardy has been excellent the last two years.

You also have to take into consideration
That I seem to be the only female Brewers fan not in love with Hardy.

Thats pretty awesome.
The Brewer fanbase must really be coming up big if all the Brewers are getting voted that high. Especially impressive with Hardy beating out so many good shortstops in the NL. Don’t the Brewers fans have a history of going crazy with the votes just before voting ends, as well?
