Capuano update
Capuano is back to 105 feet in his throwing program, and if all goes well, he will step on a mound for the first time since his setback on June 5. He'll need at least three weeks of bullpens before trying once again to throw live BP to hitters.
"I've stopped putting dates on when I'm coming back, but realistically, it will be five weeks before I can reasonably expect to get in a game," he said.

Then I realized the old mailbag was on the main site, so i went over there. Sure enough. He answered KL’s question, as well as mine.
Cards Announcers On Gamel's First Career HR, ""That’s all they need is another home run hitter".
Yeah, way to goad him into praising The Kendall
"I didn't realize his velocity was that high," said Macha, noting that radar readings aren't flashed during exhibition games.
That was the last answer I was expecting.

This is the second time Curtis Leskanic has been mentioned in a FanShot link in the past week
Pretty good for a retired double zero.
Obscure baseball records and more at my blog, Recondite Baseball.
I saw that, too
Now I want to hear some Leskanic stories.

I like KL's pseudonym on Adam's blog
You can’t sneak by Adam with “KLsnowman”!
"I will agree that the attitude [at BCB] is ridiculous and they have done so much to instigate animosity and then block us from responding. Real mature!"
Still pulling for Cappy. Hope he comes back to form, and with the Crew.
