Braden Looper Wins One Day After His Grandfather's Funeral

Adam McCalvy notes LaVerne Looper, Braden's grandfather and the man who got him started in baseball, passed away at the age of 84. Braden spoke at the funeral yesterday and returned to pick up the win in last night's game, thanks to a "gift" home run off the bat of Corey Hart. Trevor Hoffman later gave Looper the game ball. BCB sends its condolences to the Looper family.
