I didn't necessarily mean in value

Just that they’re both left-handed, both seem bound and determined to walk people no matter what, and both have like six pitches.

Oh, then sure

I do like how a Suppan 5+ innings, 2 ER start is a gritty battling game that he gutted out a win, and a Parra 5+, 2 ER is a frustrating testament to his incompetence. Parra is pretty underrated among the media types and the rambling bloggers.

I want to treat them both with high-velocity transcortical lead therapy, personally

Awesome

We’re about to be the team they let their worst reliever work his issues out against. It seems like cruel and unusual punishment to put the guy with the 12 ERA out against the team who’s already put up 10.

Stats count for yesterday

The game in August will, too. So if a midseason call up plays in that game, his debut date gets all screwy (like Barry Bonds).

I think you tapdanced on a tightrope about as long as we could have hoped for tonight.
