Mark DiFelice Should be an All-Star
DiFelice is having a good enough season that I think it's possible. Apparently, so does this guy.

It would be nice
but there’s essentially no way it would happen, right? Not even as a statistics leader amongst pretty much all bullpen pitchers, because I’d expect any reliever spots automatically go to closers, right?
Now that I think about it, since the All-Star game pitching seems to work on the one-and-done format, I suppose it actually makes sense to take only closers for the bullpen.
I've always thought that too.
Get 2 starters, have them go 2 innings each, and have the 5 top closers pitch an inning each.
I have a feeling
That’ll be the case for Rickie Weeks if he gets voted in somehow. I wonder how the manager would handle your suggestion though. I like it.

well..
make him a starter one or two days before the break, have him pitch 3 innings. the all star game tends to honor the “I’m on a contending team and I’m sore” from players.
