Thank god the Brewers aren't in the AL still!
The designated hitter rule is like letting someone else take Wilt Chamberlain's free throws.

different leagues, different team-building philosophies
If the Brewers were still in the AL, they’d have a team built for the AL (with a decent DH, etc.; yes, everyone complains about Kendall, but unless you’re putting Joe Mauer out there, almost everyone’s catcher can’t hit.)

I prefer NL ball but the Brewers would be better off in the AL
being able to move Fielder to DH long-term would be great
(although on Yovani days could we have a D3B instead?)

If Fielder was our DH
I wonder if we’d have Oooooooooverbay at first base still.
"I will agree that the attitude [at BCB] is ridiculous and they have done so much to instigate animosity and then block us from responding. Real mature!"

Terrible game to be at.
Knew nothing good was going to happen when they intentionally walked Nick Punto. C’Mon! He is almost as bad as Bill Hall.

YOU TAKE THAT BACK!
No one is even “almost” as bad as Bill Hall.

FSN kept panning the stands
Lots of long faces. Exceptions were a group of Twins’ fans and a bunch of little leaguers.
