So, judging from the box score only...
… Bill Hall still sucks. Did he make any exceptional defensive plays at least?
i have a reasonable dislike of Bill Hall.

i have a question
did we play fewer interleague games than all-but-one NL team this year?
by PagsBrewCrew on Jun 30, 2009 10:14 PM CDT up reply actions
No
I believe we started playing interleague before most teams. There are 2 more NL teams than AL teams, so there will always be one NL only game during interleague play.
Cards Announcers On Gamel's First Career HR, ""That’s all they need is another home run hitter".
I think the schedule looked tough finishing with the mets/cubs before the allstar break… but might catch them both at bad times…
The designated hitter rule is like letting someone else take Wilt Chamberlain's free throws.
Mike Burns' first career win
Congrats to him. I wonder if he got the “game ball.”

Brewers line tomorrow
minus 240. Vegas already knows about the AAA lineup for the Mets and Yo’s awesome daytime ERA.
Coffey is surprisingly fast, as is the Polish Sausage
It's supposed to be cloudy
Everyone will be able to see the ball!

Nice
O’s were down 10-1 against Sox and are now up 11-10.

i don't know why but
i always love me some O’s. maybe it’s the orange, maybe it’s because i love a loser.

Reminds me of 1982
O’s were always pulling out these miracle finishes.

Nice Start
Saw both of Burns starts, he hasn’t pitched bad at all. I’d say he’s got the leg up for the 5th starter once Bush returns.
For those curious, 15.34 Coffey run and Chorizo took the race edging Brat with a nice box out.
Chorizo never seems to win
Imagine the Brewers offense without Ryan & Prince.

Prolly
McGehee took some tough breaks

Jeff Suppan: Captain Bok, that is a great question. Does "Bok" mean Book of Knowledge? My favorite thing about Milwaukee are the Brewers.

Sorry, I was in the middle of an interview
Braun was the MVP with +.372 and McGehee the LVP with -.113 (link).
It was a great selection of awesome.

A Mets fan was ripping on the "shrine" the Brewers have to the 50's Brave Team
“The Brewers have a shrine to the Milwaukee Braves’ Championship Is that like building a stadium to mirror the Brooklyn Dodgers?”
Kind of funny coming from a fan of a team who’s team colors are the colors of the two teams that left New York for Cali lol
