Escobar continues to be red hot.
Salome and Lucroy continue to struggle.

good thing we have such an awesome catcher with the big club already
Also, cheese.

Speaking of Salome...
Just curious Jeff, why do his career stats include a “2006 Total” line when he only played for one club? (And possibly related, the Defense view shows 10 innings played for an Orioles affiliate that year…?)
yes, it's a long, messy story
basically, i didn’t know how to program in 2006.
Also, cheese.

the actual story is long
that’s why I substituted a different explanation.
Also, cheese.

it wasn't messy, either

A triple and a homerun?
I didn’t know Escobar had a big stick to pair with that bazooka hose of his.
BCB, the preferred above replacement level sarcasm supplier.
Don't know how much power he has
But it looks like he is an extreme ground ball hitter, which should serve him well with his speed. Probably won’t ever hit a lot of homers since his FB% is so low.
Maybe should've clarified
That that wasn’t a serious comment, but instead one meant to play off of the early season story regarding his hose.

Impressive outing for Chase Wright...
5+ IP and just 4 runs given up, but a game score of only 29. Gritty! Looks like that happens only about once a year in the majors. (59 times since 1954 with a GmSc <30 according to PI, the record holder being this 24.)
