Around SBN: 2012 Africa Cup Of Nations Final

Since Hyatt won't update everyone, since his team still blows, here's the update. I'm in first and have been for more than a week now...And now by a massive 14pts.

Thanks Hyatt for keeping everyone updated on the ass-whooping I'm putting on all of you.

I went from 2nd to 8th in about a week and a half. Good times.

I've made some stupid waiver moves...

Jake Fox among others. Doh.

Glad to see

you didn’t publish the standings. although I’m flying up to 19th with a bullet! I do have reason for optimism as I expect McCutcheon and Hanson to battle for ROY honors. Also hoping for Buchholz to make a grand entrance soon (when Penny gets traded away).

RE: Bucholz

I drafted him hoping for the same thing. I had to release him for several reasons.

1. My pitching sucked, still does, and I can’t justify a spot where I was getting zero production.
2. At first the BoSox rotation was shaky and I thought he’d get called up, but Lester, Becket, Penny, and now Dice-BB have all looked better so it seems they’ve put him on the back burner for now.
3. Smoltz is reportedly on track to join them soon, and he’d definitely ahead of Bucholz in their eyes.

He was one of my “upside” picks, but the upside seems to be dimming a little bit. It hurt me to release him, and it hurt me when you picked him up. :)

Suppan, who has seen his ERA rise from 4.12 in his final year in St. Louis to 4.62 in 2007 and 4.96 last year, isn't an option in fantasy leagues - Rotoworld

Smoltz

I agree. His bionic arm is back in the picture once again. He’s a helluva player. . . and gamer.
Not sure how long to hang on with Buccholz.

I had no idea I was all alone in 15th place.

Better than being all alone in 20th place, I guess.
