Cameron suspended two games
Mike Cameron has been suspended two games after making contact with umpire Marvin Hudson in the ninth inning of Saturday's game. Cameron will appeal the suspension, so he won't have to miss any playing time until the process is done.

He's said he will fight it, as he should
it’ll probably end up as 1. Just a day off.
Scored three times and detonated an indisputable in four visits to the batting box.
but we are playing the red-hot Rockies
all bats are needed

looking at the schedule...
hopefully he’ll agree to the suspension sometime in the NEXT 4 series. Interleague and all. It won’t affect head-to-head wildcard status or anything.
Bah, get this professional baseball news out of here
"I didn't realize his velocity was that high," said Macha, noting that radar readings aren't flashed during exhibition games.
Why more than one?
Did he bump twice and try to push him down or what? I thought contact with an umpire was pretty much always a 1 game suspension for position players.
Just a total Joke...
that umpire ran into him and knocked his own hat off.
i have never seen a grown man make such a big deal about no contact whatsoever. his overblown reaction was comical at the time.
Why is it that a position player gets 2 games but a pitcher (Zambrano) basically gets his turn pushed back a day?
You got a better idea?

no, it just seems that the punishments are not the same for essentially the same situation.

Life's a bitch and then you die...
Guess it’s just a case of an inequality without remedy.

Too bad
maybe he could use a couple of days off though.
"He had some firsts," said Brewers manager Ken Macha. "His first homer, his first Major League start, his first error and my first gray hair."
