Watch Brett Lawrie and Alcides Escobar in Futures Game
A rain delay in the first inning lasted only a few hours. THwitter says the game will be shortened to seven innings with no inning to start after 7:30 PM CDT. It's like baseball before lights!
The game is on ESPN2.

Way back when this first started at 1
Alcides Escobar led off with a single and reached second on an error. He scored later in the inning. Lawrie grounded out to short. After the resumption, Escobar ended the top of the second by flying out to right.
