Braun batting cleanup, playing RF in All-Star Game
NL manager Charlie Manuel chose to play Braun in right over the older and less mobile Raul Ibanez.

It would be very cool long-term if Braun could play RF competently
He definitely seems to have the wheels and arm to do it.
It will be cool to see him give it a shot.

Pujols before Braun?
From the article:
Here are the lineups:
NL
SS Hanley Ramirez
2B Chase Utley
1B Albert Pujols
RF Ryan Braun
LF Raul Ibanez
3B David Wright
CF Shane Victorino
C Yadier Molina
RHP Tim Lincecum
AL
RF Ichiro Suzuki
SS Derek Jeter
C Joe Mauer
1B Mark Teixeira
LF Jason Bay
CF Josh Hamilton
3B Evan Longoria
2B Aaron Hill
RHP Roy Halladay
I know they’re almost interchangeable, but I’d think Braun bats in front of Pujols. Braun’s practically always been a 3-hole hitter for the Brewers. Those are some brutal 1-4 hitters on each side. That’s kind of exciting.
It’s a shame Fielder or Pujols can’t play another position, because it would be loads of fun to have Pujols protected by Braun protected by Fielder or in any order. That would be an unenviable task for any pitcher in baseball.
Wow, Aaron Hill is an All-Star starter?

Is he Pedroia's replacement?
I know Pedroia went home to tend to a sick family member.
"The reports are that he is getting better. The definition of better is nebulous."
Must be
Doesn’t lessen my surprise.
